Images taken on bank and pavement edge, Ridgeway, Plympton, Plymouth, Devon. 24.07.08.
First found by Phil Pullen, a botanical recorder in Plymouth and member of the Devonshire Association. The record represents the first instance of the species growing in the wild in the UK and Ireland. The species, in this location, is from a horticultural source, possibly from fly-tipping, in nature it is found north of the Euxine Alps, Anatolia, Turkey. The species has since become established in Cornwall, growing on the tops of graves in Horson Cemetery, Torpoint, in Jan. 2018.

The main objective of this website is in furthering environmental awareness and education through the medium of photography. To increase awareness and access to the flora of the region and help
people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but a few species may only be determined by observing microscopic differences that are characteristic to any one species.
