E. zambesiacea is a smaller species with brilliant white flowers on a spike approximately 30cm high, and rosette 45cm across, resembles the more commonly available E. autumnalis.

Photographs of this Eucomis were taken at the former African Garden in Estover, Plymouth, Devon; once home to the NCCPG National Collection of Eucomis with Galtonia.
