The specimen above was found in a sediment sample taken near the low tide mark on an extra low tide at Marra Pool, Mount Batten, Plymouth, Devon, 04.03.22.

The specimen here is just over 3.5mm in length and is a very small juvenile. The specimen was found on sieving clean sand just beyond the low tide mark near Western Cressars reef, Penzance, Cornwall, 05.07.20. The species occurs with what Ray Gibson and I think is the little known nemertean Carinesta anglica (to be verified).
Thanks go to both Malin Strand and Jon Norenburg for identifying this species via the Facebook Group "Nemerteans - sharing our unpublished knowledge". The identification was made harder because the species had not been reported in the UK before.
