The specimen above was found in leaf litter at North Cliff Plantation, Tehidy Country Park, near Camborne, Cornwall. 27.11.16.
This specimen fits well with Gibson's description of this species in the Synopses of the British Isles book on British Nemerteans. Other similar looking species occur in Cornwall so care needs to be taken when identifying this species.
The species is morphologically similar to Argonemertes sp. (c.f. A. dendyi), but the latter has a different barcode.
Reported as an introduction to Wales pre. 1937.
