Species is most likely Psammamphiporus elongatus syn. Amphiporus elongatus. Dr. Juan Junoy of the EU-US Marine Biodiversity Research Group in Spain at the Universidad de Alcalá confirmed it is likely to be this species. It is important here to remember how difficult nemerteans are to identify in the field and sometimes even under a microscope, and often a more detailed examination is needed to confirm species.
