The Cidaris cidaris here is a preserved specimen from the French Mediterranean, in collection at Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle de Toulouse (MHNT.ZOO.2006.25.1).
Distribution: In depths of more than 130m, on gravel, stones and coral, to the north and west of the British Isles.
