Images above are of bales of rubber, about 30 x 15 inches in size, that washed-up on three separate beaches in Cornwall, on the same day. 27.01.16. The beaches were fairly close together but it is highly unusual to find three bales on three beaches on the same day, brought in by the same tide. It is thought the bales of rubber come from a ship that sunk in the early 20th century. As for bales, well it's just the way the raw rubber was once transported from colonies abroad, the bales are nothing to do with drug smuggling.

The main objective of this website is in furthering environmental awareness and education through the medium of photography. To increase awareness and access to the wildlife of the region and help
people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but many species can only be determined by observing microscopic characteristics that are specific to any one species.
