The 6.0mm male specimen above was found in a subtidal sample of Coral Weed, collected on a low spring tide, at Chimney Rocks, Penzance, Cornwall. 06.06.16.

Dead specimen, specimen previously saponified in bleach, hence colour. Specimen found in debris knocked off a crab pot covered in fauna, the crab pot was caught in a trawl and brought to Newlyn Marina, Newlyn, Cornwall. Specimen photographed 08.09.15. Crab pot sampled 23.08.15 and 29.08.15.

people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but many species can only be determined by observing microscopic characteristics that are specific to any one species.
