A number of small pieces of this hydroid were found on looking for amphipods in a brackish locality. The pieces were found in the sediment collected whilst sampling the pontoon at Calstock, on the River Tamar, Cornwall, 20.09.22.

people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but many species can only be determined by observing microscopic characteristics that are specific to any one species.
