Lenticulina rotulata here displayed was in sand collected by Adrian Brokenshire at an unknown location at Carrick Roads, Falmouth, Cornwall, collection date unknown. The identification is based upon "Cushman, J., A., 1923: The Foraminifera of the Atlantic Ocean. Part 4. Lagenidae. Bull. U.S. Natl. Mus. 104. Smithsonian Institution United States National Museum Bulletin 104. Plate 28, Fig. 1,2", the species has not been verified.
In Cornwall this species was occasionally found by Edward Heron-Allen FRS between 1916 and 1929, being found around the Eddystone, he reported it to be generally distributed.
