Specimens were found by T. Tucker on a small plastic float that washed-ashore at Praa Sands, near Helston, Cornwall. 10.03.2001. The float was also covered with Desmophyllum pertusum syn. Lophelia pertusa (Linnaeus, 1758) and a number of Neopycnodonte cochlear (Poli, 1795), Deepsea oysters.

All fauna on the buoy was kindly identified by Helmut Zibrowius.
