Two specimens, one a small red juvenile, were found inside a cracked Man-overboard marker, washed-up at Gwithian, Cornwall. 11.02.16. Two Isognomon bicolor and two live Stramonita floridana were also present, along with Columbus crabs and Stalked barnacles, Lepas anatifera and Lepas ansifera.

This is a non-native species that have been found in Ireland on flotsam. The specimen above is 17.3mm across and was found under rocks on the low tide mark at Varadero, Cuba, July 2013. Specimens was purchased for displaying here. Images taken 14.01.16.
