Some of the mages are of a shell found at Hayle Towans, Hayle, Cornwall, 06.11.11. Shell was found in sand exposed by wind on the strandline. Other Images are of shells from a private collection in Cornwall.

Previously recorded from Hayle, Gwithian Beach, Porthkidney Sands, Gerrans Bay, Helford and Bosahan Cove; Cornwall. Older 19th Century records include Falmouth, St. Austell, Mounts Bay and Fowey.
